Here is a senior I recently photographed. We had a lot of fun. As you can see by his shirt he has good taste in music like me

I’ve been working on my youtube channel. Give it a look and let me know what you think, http://www.youtube.com/user/fraleyfoto.
I’m trying to get caught up on a few things and blogging is one of them. Here is a few photo of one of the cutest little boys. I’ve been photographing him since he was a newborn. It’s hard to believe how big he’s gotten.

First a big thank you to all who entered the Father’s Day contest. It was a tough choice. I had to recruit my friends at NewPortraitBizPro.com for help. Thanks guys:) A congratulations goes out to Brenda for her heart warming story about her husband, Bob. Here is her entry:
Why do I think Bob is the Best dad ever?
Let me try to count the ways:
Bob works 12 hour days yet he still comes home and wrestles or plays on the floor with Lil’ Bob for an hour after he gets home.
Bob apologizes to his son when he needs to. Takes a big man to do that.
Bob hugs and kisses his boy and tells him he loves him daily, even though he is almost 10!
Bob does not complain about anything he does for his boy.
Our kiddo has Down Syndrome which means a lot of our family outings involved treatment or medical visits. Bob comes when he is not working and sometimes takes Lil’ Bob so I can have a break.
Bob shares in everything Lil’ Bob related: diapering for 7 years!, bathing (even though Lil’ Bob hates it), getting up in the middle of every night to take him potty, taking care of him when he is sick, taking him to the ER during the night even when he has to work the next day, medical procedures at home and in the hospital. Bob is also very involved in Lil’ Bob’s school planning and attends his IEP whenever he is not working. Basically, Bob is involved in all things Lil’ Bob related; the fun stuff and the hard stuff.
Bob remains calm cool and collected during stressful times. He performed CPR on Lil’ B when I panic.
Bob got him to the hospital in time when I froze.
Bob is a great provider. We never want for anything and he is an amazing financial planner. He does not complain about working overtime.
Bob pays for treatment without question. If I think Lil’ B needs it or we should try it Bob just writes the check. He doesn’t complain if it doesn’t ‘work’ .
All of this is important. Possibly most important is that Bob laughs with his son daily. He truly enjoys him and teases Lil’ Bob just like he teases everyone else. I am sure they will always remain best friends.
We are fortunate to have him. I’m sure Lil’ Bob would agree.

So I’m in the process of cleaning out and organizing my spare room that I store my props and other photo stuff in and I ran across some old samples of senior folios. I thought to myself, what am I going to do with these, then it hit me. I’ll give them away, with photos, to the first few high school seniors who book a session with me. I have a limited supply so first come first serve. The folios are similar to the photo. If you’re interested contact me tammy@fraleyphotography.com, (360)977-7048.
10 years ago my father passed from lung cancer. At that moment I realized that my life as I knew it would never be the same. I would never again see his smiling face, or hear is laugh. Every family dinner from then on would have an empty seat at the dinner table. I think about him every day, but I’m thankful that I have my memories, boxes of photographs to look back on and that I had him in my life for 38 years and also that my 2 children got to meet him.
Last March, as the tenth anniversary of his death was approaching, I was scanning old photographs of him for my brother. He wanted to post a photo a day of Dad on facebook in memory of him. While doing this my youngest son, who is now 18, walked in and asked me what I was doing. I told him then asked him “Do you remember Grandpa?” He said “Not really, maybe a little.” I thought, how sad that he doesn’t have those memories that I have.
So for this Father’s Day I’ve decided that I want to give a special memory to someone else. I want to provide a family with a special gift of portraiture so that they will have a beautiful memory to share for a lifetime. This contest is for anyone who has a Dad, is married to a Dad or is the parent of a Dad. I will be giving away one Family Session and a $300.00 credit to a special Dad and his family.
What do you have to do to enter you ask? All you have to do is write me an email and tell me what makes you special Dad so special to you! Send it to me at contest@fraleyphotography.com and put Dad in the subject line. That’s it. You need to submit your email no later than Wednesday June 15th, 2011. I will be selecting a winner on Saturday June 18th, 2011 so spread the word! And Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there, past, present and future!
Check out this photo I did for Rick & Company Hair Design. These are a wonderful group of ladies that were so fun to work with! Need your hair done? Go there, 8207 NE Van Mall Drive Suite #A, Vancouver, WA 98662 (360) 254-5633.

Well it’s almost here and I finally got my son’s grad cards done and ordered. I’m so excited. It was a long road and we made it!

This little guy had a lot of fun trying to catch that fish!

I am probably the worlds worst blogger. I guess I’m just not much of a writer. That’s probably one reason why I took up photography instead of writing
I promise I’ll try to do better.
I thought it’s probably about time I post some images of the contestants from the Cutest Baby Contest I did in March. Over the next few days I’ll be posting their photos and hopefully get in the groove of blogging ![]()
The first photo is of cute little Dexter. He was very active and quite a little darling. I enjoyed working with him very much.
