How do I book a portrait session with you?
You can either give me a call, shoot me an email or send me a message on my contact form. We will set up a time for your no obligation consultation to determine your portrait needs and wants. After the consultation we will set up a time for your portrait session.

Do I need an in person consultation?
Yes. I believe in creating a personal relationship with you so you get the most out of your portraiture investment.

How long will my portrait session last?
Your portrait session will last approximately one hour depending on locations and how many clothing and background changes take place. Newborn session can take up to four hours so be prepared.

Does your session fee include any prints?
No. My session fee is for my time, preparation, thought and talent in creating your portraits.

Do you have a studio?
Yes I have a studio, but I also do portrait sessions on location. Location portraits have a more relaxed, personal and casual look. Also location portraits are great for newborns. Mom and baby are more relaxed in their home environment.

Do I get to choose my portrait session location or will you do that for me?
Of course I will make suggestions, but the decision for the location of you portrait session is yours.

What should I wear for my portraits?
For family portraits it’s best that everyone is dressed similarly and avoid bright colors, trendy fashion and large patterns. I have a complete list of clothing suggestions that goes into more detail. Just give me a call for more information.

Do you charge a travel fee for locations?
Locations in and around the Vancouver area are included in my session fee. Travel fees apply for sessions 30 minutes or more outside the Vancouver area. They are quoted on an individual basis.

How long will it take before I get to see my portraits?
Your portraits will be ready to view in 7 to 14 days from your session depending on how busy the studio is at the time of your portrait session.

Will I be able to view my portraits online?
When your portraits are ready I will contact you to set up a viewing appointment for you to view them at my studio. After your viewing session I will put your images online if requested. Your online gallery will be available to view for 5 days. You can request more time, but keep in mind there is a $75.00 upload fee for galleries extended beyond the original 5 days.

Do I have to place my order at the viewing appointment?
It is recommended that you be ready to place your order at the viewing session. Please come prepared with the sizes and amount of images that you want and bring your significant other with you to the viewing appointment, husband, parents, grandparents, etc. so everyone will have an input.

How long will my viewing appointment last?
Your viewing appointment will last about an hour. Please come prepared and I encourage you to leave the children at home otherwise the appointment could take longer.

What if I, or other family member live out of town and want to see the portraits, but can’t make it to the viewing appointment?
For my out of town clients I do put their images online for them to view. They will be online for 5 days and there is a $75.00 upload fee for all online galleries extended beyond the original 5 days.
