Tween Photographer - Vancouver, WA

Recently I did a model call to photograph tweens. In case you don't know tweens are kids about 8 to 12 years old. Not little kids anymore and not teenagers. They're in-beTWEEN.

When I first decided to go this route with my photography I thought that this would be fun. Then after I started working with the girls I quickly realized what a powerful thing this could be. Giving beautiful images to these soon-to-be young women. Show them how beautiful they are.

We all know what a difficult age this is. I don't know about you but I remember feeling not so pretty, not being one of the 'cool kids', always getting picked last to be on the dodgeball team (I hated dodgeball by the way). The struggles are real for girls this age. I hope with my photography I can give them the gift of showing them how beautiful they are. It's time to celebrate our tweens!
